Really fucking cool: MIT grad student David Merrill demos Siftables, a set of tiny computerized blocks that can sense other blocks nearby. They work together to play games, make music, and do math. The music part kicks in around 4:45 and is pretty dope, the way in which the blocks recognize each other allows for all sorts of beatmaking, filtration and effects. Reminds me of Sony Blockjam, but with seemingly more limitless possibilities.
